Word Wars: Typing Battle
Type a word. Its last letters land on your opponent's board, and they have to answer them. Whatever they play comes straight back at you.

It helps to include your device, your iOS version, and what you were doing when it happened. If a match went wrong, roughly what time it was is useful too.
Common questions
How do I play against a friend?
Tap VERSUS on the title screen. Apple's Game Center screen opens, with a quick match option and an invite option. Inviting sends them a link by message — they do not need to be a Game Center friend, and they do not need the game installed to receive it.
My friends list is empty
Apple only shows friends who are Game Center friends with you and have opened Word Wars themselves. On a new account it will usually be empty, and that is normal rather than broken. Use the invite option instead — it reaches anyone in your contacts.
I bought the Premium pack and it is gone
Open Settings in the game and tap Restore purchases. The pack is tied to your Apple Account, so it will come back on any device signed into the same one. If it does not, email us with the date of purchase.
A match connected and then nothing happened
Both players have to be on the same version. If one of you is on an older build, update and try again. If it persists, let us know roughly when it happened.
Can I turn off the swearing?
The profanity filter is on by default and masks rude words on screen. You can switch it off in Settings. Slurs are not in the dictionary at all and cannot be played.
How do I get rid of the adverts?
The Premium pack removes the break between matches, and adds three cosmetics you cannot unlock by playing.
Privacy
